Each item large or small is hand made in its entirety by McRae in the little Herefordshire workshop, so therefore why not go that little bit further and personalise your purchase? Whether it is just a name, a quote, a date, a celebration, or a memory, it is a lovely way to add an extra personal element to your purchase.
There are two ways of doing this:
A) Stamping directly onto the item (this tends to work well for smaller pieces)
B) Stamp into a copper, brass or aluminium backing plate that is then riveted onto the item (best for larger pieces or if it is “In Memory of”)
Each letter is stamped by hand so spacing and alignment can be a little erratic. We think that this reflects and enhances the unique handmade quality of every McRae product.
